If your illness or disability is as a result of your service in the Armed Forces, you may be entitled to financial help or compensation.


RetirementMobility was formed to offer a unique reference point on staying mobile and using mobility equipment. Their concern was that there was no single UK resource for interesting features and practical advice on this subject. All features and articles are written by experts - who have experience, or a particular interest in this area. The focus is simply on having experts create the highest quality information possible that is widely read.

This website was made to save time finding Disability Grants because charities and trusts provide funding towards the high cost of disability equipment, holidays, housing, days out - in fact anything above and beyond the normal costs of everyday living. Searching for extra funds takes time - in between work, hospital appointments, caring, therapies. So this site wants to help save time finding the right grants.

DLF is a national charity that provides impartial advice, information and training on daily living aids. It is a founder member of the Information Standard, a certification scheme for health and social care information. Here you can find out about the many ways DLF helps the general public and healthcare professionals find out about daily living equipment and assistive technology. DLF doesn’t sell any products, but can help you find the people that do.

The Citizens Information Board is the statutory body which supports the provision of information, advice and advocacy on a broad range of public and social services. provides comprehensive information on public services and on the entitlements of citizens in Ireland. It gathers information from various government departments and agencies, and makes sure that you have all the information you need, presented in an easy-to-understand way. The site has been specially designed around the needs of users for those times in life when you need information about your rights and how to apply for State services in Ireland.

Ontario Disability Support Program

The Ontario Disability Support Program helps people with disabilities who are in financial need pay for living expenses, like food and housing. The program Employment Supports helps people with disabilities who can and want to work prepare for and find a job. The Ontario Disability Support Program is managed and delivered by the Ministry of Community and Social Services.
