When did you last laugh heartily and what about?

Laura Gentile: Recently about a speaker, who introduced us into journalism. He said: "Sometimes people call me, because they have read one of my articles. Then they say: 'You are a real jerk.' – and I just answer: 'Well, I take cognizance of that.'."

What have you always been wanting to do and why have you never done this so far?

Laura Gentile: I have been always wanting to swim with dolphins. But I haven’t done it yet, because I did not dare to. I thought they were really big. But after I have been to Sea World las year and already touched them, I want to swim with them when I am back at Sea World next time. I had to make some contact with them and to build some trust.

Which person has influenced you most?

Laura Gentile: I guess it was my mum. At least she brought me up and has been at my side for about 18 years. She helped me through everyday life and has been there in good times and in bad times. I think I learned a lot from her.

You have the chance to become the German Federal Commissioner for the Disabled. What would you do first?

Laura Gentile: I am of the opinion that official do far too little! That is why I would probably first build a complete new team around me – with people who REALLY want to change something and who are not only talking.

Your life is made into a film: Who would represent you?

Laura Gentile: Selena Gomez. Because she looks a little bit like me and is also as thin as I used to be. And I think she would do a really good job. AND I would have the chance to finally meet her.

Which questions would you like answered the most?

Laura Gentile: How can politicians – especially in Austria and Germany – always talk about inclusion, when there are more than 50 percent places which are not accessible?
