The big family is meeting again: from October 3rd till October 6th REHACARE 2007 takes place. People with disabilities, relatives, nurses – they’ll all come to see the latest trends in auxiliary means. The personal budget, special workshops and the “Marktplatz Gehirn” (A life torn apart) are presented in our topic of the month REHACARE 2007.
REHACARE has informed people with disabilities for more than thirty years about the latest auxiliary means. However the fare is not only about technical progress, but also about the right of self determination: The German Ministry of Work and social affairs is giving a lecture on the Personal Budget.
- Personal Budget
Be attentive and take matters into your own hands. At REHACARE 2007, three workshops will enable you to do so. Seminars will deal with employment promotion of people with differing abilities, accident insurance of family member carers and back-saving activities for caregivers.
- Questions Welcome!
It is a deadly race: stroke outstripped heart attack in the industrialised countries. However, in Germany the treatment of stroke patients still shows a deficit and the lack of knowledge in the population is immense. At REHACARE 2007 the “Marktplatz Gehirn” (“Marketplace Brain”) in Hall 3 is to provide patients, relatives and interested parties with help and information.
