"Opposites attract" or "Birds of a feather flock together" – no one knows what is right. Even if researchers assume that similarities make people more attractive to others. However, does one thing necessarily exclude the other one? REHACARE.de wanted to find it out and met two quite different couples. More on it in the Topic of the Month December: Unlike Couples.
He has got Down’s Syndrome and she is highly gifted. Brother and sister as different as they can be. The eight year old Thomas and the four year old Cosima are different from other children. REHACARE.de asked their mother Anita Kinle how living with such different kids is like.

They sometimes earn doubtful looks, when they walk along the street hand in hand. She is sitting in a wheelchair, he is on foot. Birgit Habben-Kober and her husband Reiner Kober seem to be an unequal couple, but they are more affiliated with each other then it looks like. They are not only a team in everyday life but also in dancing.
