Whether you use a rollator walker or a wheelchair - in many stores you need to squeeze yourself through the aisles. Shopping is no fun this way. More and more retailers realize though, that senior citizens and people with disabilities are important for their daily business. The customer is always right, says a proverb. Yet not all stores really cater to the needs of all its customers. Senior citizens and people with disabilities often have no idea, where they can shop comfortably without facing any barriers. Now a nationwide seal of approval wants to change that.

Now a shopping centre in Berlin offers blind and visually impaired customers at least some help during shopping – with a Blind-Guiding System.
