REHACARE.de: What makes you get up in the morning?
Bea Gellhorn: The feeling to help - with my work - to make the world more human and fairer.

REHACARE.de: What is your favourite place and why?
Bea Gellhorn: Places of art like museums and galleries as places of inspiration and discovery but also as places of calm and relaxation.

REHACARE.de: Who or what impresses you?
Bea Gellhorn: How creativity and artistic talent paves its way outwards, when people do not abandon and fight for their aims and visions.

REHACARE.de: What is your most valuable possession?
Bea Gellhorn: My insistence to pursue a vision.

REHACARE.de: What are you fed up with?
Bea Gellhorn: With exclusion, injustice, craving for recognition, debates guided by envy and arrogance.

REHACARE.de: What makes you relax the most?
Bea Gellhorn: The places of art, in the sunshine, being with my friends.

REHACARE.de: What makes you happy?
Bea Gellhorn: I follow the words of my mother wrote in my poetry album: ”… the joy, we give others will return in our own heart.”

REHACARE.de: Name three things that make for a fulfilled life!
Bea Gellhorn: To have finished a task, close and loyal friends, the ability to be happy about little things.

REHACARE.de: When was the last time you felt blown away by something?
Bea Gellhorn: Again and again I am fascinated and overwhelmed by the art which artists with a handicap present in our gallery. How much talent, how much courage and how much quality they have.

REHACARE.de: What questions would you like to know the answer to?
Bea Gellhorn: When will the art of people with handicap be a recognised contribution to the production of contemporary art? When will their works of art be represented in galleries and museums?

REHACARE.de: What makes a person rich?
Bea Gellhorn: The experiences, the imagination, the ability to love.

REHACARE.de: What is your philosophy of life?
Bea Gellhorn: To walk with tall and to look forward.
