Music is the biggest passion for Daniel Denecke, who is hard of hearing. REHACARE.de talked to the active artist about hearing, the sound of the sea and how Heinz Becker rocks him to sleep.

REHACARE.de: When did you last laugh heartily and what about?
Daniel Denecke: Before I fall asleep I often listen to the comedian Heinz Becker.

REHACARE.de: What is your favourite place? And why?
Daniel Denecke: On the sea because now I can hear the waves and the seagulls again.

REHACARE.de: The last meal in my life would be…
Daniel Denecke: Doner (spicy).

REHACARE.de: Which person has influenced you most?
Daniel Denecke: They are so many that I could not list them up here.

REHACARE.de: Is there something you should throw away, but won’t?
Daniel Denecke: I have a several shoes which have a hole in the sole, but I love these shoes.

REHACARE.de: If you were to win one million in the lottery, what would you do with the money?
Daniel Denecke: I would bestow a great amount of the money on the development of everythin concerning hearing and on the therapy of tinnitus.

REHACARE.de: Which moment of your life would you like to relive?
Daniel Denecke: I have them every morning when I apply my hearing devices. To be able to hear again is one of those moments.

Every day is Daniel Denecke glad about he can hear again. He spends his free time gladly on the sea, where he can listen to the waves and the seagulls;
