Blind and learning-disabled Thorsten Graf has a dream: Becoming a pop singer. The 27-year-old spoke with REHACARE.de about his idols like DJ Ötzi, John Denver and his aversion against soup.

REHACARE.de: When did you last laugh heartily and what about?
Thorsten Graf: After a concert. I drank four drinks with cola and rum and laughed about my own jokes.

REHACARE.de: What is your favourite place? And why?
Thorsten Graf: At home, where I can listen to my favourite music loudly.

REHACARE.de: The last meal in my life would be…
Thorsten Graf: No soup, apart from that I like nearly everything.

REHACARE.de: Which person has influenced you most?
Thorsten Graf: My mother

REHACARE.de: Is there something you should throw away, but won’t?
Thorsten Graf: If it is trash or does not work, I throw it away.

REHACARE.de: If you were to win one million in the lottery, what would you do with the money?
Thorsten Graf: I haven’t won a million in the lottery yet, so I do not know what to do with it.

REHACARE.de: Which moment of your life would you like to relive?
Thorsten Graf: I would like to go on holiday again. Last year I was in London and this year I like to go to Tirol, because I like the accent and the folk music so much.

Thorsten Graf: By listening to music, especially to love songs like Annie’s Song by John Denver.

Thorsten Graf: There is no such question.

Thorsten Graf: If it gets loud (noise, hubbub) and people get stressed very much.

REHACARE.de: What else would you like to accomplish in life?
Thorsten Graf: I am happy the way things are.
