Mamy Rock travels around the world as a DJ. REHACARE.de talked to her about treasures that can be discovered on every continent and how nice it is to make young people dance.


REHACARE.de: What is your favourite place? And why?
Mamy Rock: There are so many wonderful places to visit in the world. I travel a lot since I’m a DJ and I think it’s never too late to discover new cities, new cultures. There are treasures on every continent. But I must say I appreciate to come back home, and relax with my family.

REHACARE.de: The last meal in my life would be…
Mamy Rock: I used to be a vegetarian, so why not a Mediterranean one, like typical Greek meal?

REHACARE.de: Which person has influenced you most?
Mamy Rock: My favourite singer of all time was Freddie Mercury. What a voice. I still stifle the tears when I hear his music and wonder what else he might have achieved.

REHACARE.de: Which moment of your life would you like to relive?
Mamy Rock: There are a lot of nice moments since I’m a DJ. Making young people dance and see them happy is so good, but I’d probably say my son’s birth was one of the best.

Mamy Rock: I like to have a long walk, alone, while meditating.

Mamy Rock: Maybe Queen or Bing Crosby.

REHACARE.de: What are you most afraid of?
Mamy Rock: I’m not really afraid of something. I try to always be positive. That’s my way of life. I’m sure that being positive helps you to stay healthy.
