Handicap: My biggest weakness is my impatience with myself and others.

The Documentary filmmaker Renate Günther-Green would like to be once just lazy. With REHACARE.de she talked about that she is fed up about the European Stability Mechanism, about her fear of a serious illness and about her admiration for her mother.

REHACARE.de: When did you last laugh heartily and what about?
Renate Günther-Greene: About my neighbour who announced me yesterday: „You will be a Grandmother of twins.” She found two pigeon eggs under my balcony.

REHACARE.de: What is your favourite place? And why?
Renate Günther-Greene: In my apartment. It is my home.

REHACARE.de: The last meal in my life would be…
Renate Günther-Greene: First of all I do not know what my last meal would be. Besides, I do not know in what sanitary condition I will be at that time. One thing is for certain, I want my family around me. That is more important then what is on my spoon before I die.

REHACARE.de: Which person has influenced you most?
Renate Günther-Greene: My Mother. As a war-widow she showed courage, a sense of responsibility and optimism.

REHACARE.de: Is there something you should throw away, but won’t?
Renate Günther-Greene: There are many things, I am a keeper, especially when I combine nice memories with it. For me objects have a soul too as well as houses or cities.

REHACARE.de: If you were to win one million in the lottery, what would you do with the money?
Renate Günther-Greene: I spend one third, with the rest I will shoot a big documentary.

REHACARE.de: Which moment of your life would you like to relive?
Renate Günther-Greene: No one. Life is change and is supposed to confront us with something new. We take the old nice memories with in our life.

Renate Günther-Greene: Why can we not force the Schlecker Family via law to leave all their possessions in favour of the fired employees and let them live by means of social aid for one year ?

Renate Günther-Greene: About a serious illness.

REHACARE.de: What else would you like to accomplish in life?
Renate Günther-Greene: Everything that crosses my way as a wish or a dream.
