For that reason mobility is a central topic at the trade REHACARE 2004. Several theme parks and special shows are concerned with improvements of how people with special needs can be mobile independently.

Mobile with your own vehicle

In hall 6, vehicle constructors point out current trends and smart constructions in order to make cars more suitable for handicapped people. Visitors can find some individually designed solutions on how to become or stay mobile.

Mobile at home

Eliminating steps and sills in all living areas, adapting operating devices and mounting heights to individual requirements, creating suitable widths at doors and hallways, planning a spacious and clever proportioned floor plan - all these items are combined in the leading thought of barrier-free living. Architects, designers and technicians are always on the search for producing new ways of living for people with special needs.

Mobile whilst being on vacation

A large Travel-Center hosts organisations and tour operators in hall 6. They will give visitors of the fair an overview on destinations and organised tours for people with limited mobility.

Stay in motion during the trade show visit. Visitors can use one of the wheel chair rentals the north and south entrance of the trade fair. Furthermore, problems with own wheel chairs can be solved by technicians at special service stations in exhibition halls 3 and 7.
