Ancient steps, old cobbled streets, mediaeval houses - these things are nice to look at but in modern times they certainly do not fulfill requirements for barrier-free living. But thankfully more emphasis is placed on trouble-free living for all these days. And at REHACARE.de, news concerned with barrier-free habitation are presented this month.

Biberach College and the University of Nebraska work together in a joint research project. The centre piece of the task is the integration of a radio system that makes habitation for handicapped and seniors more comfortable.
