Who is Ki Mobility?

When Ki Mobility started in 2004, our goal was simple: develop innovative seating and mobility products with real improvements over the status quo.

We started small, both in size and scope, focusing on designing a lightweight folding wheelchair that responds like a rigid. We succeeded with the start of our Catalyst line, the most responsive folding frame on the market. Within a few years we added the Tsunami which combined unique styling, ultra-light weight and a ride with the difference you will feel. Then “Mobility for Youth” brought innovation and modern design to end-users of all ages!  Most recently we have introduced  "Rogue", our rigid chair that pushes open-frame design concepts to new levels of styling, performance and adjustability. 

Our growth has been steady over the years, but we’ve kept the high level of personalized service that characterizes small business. We understand that a functioning chair is not an option, it’s a necessity, and we take great pride in responding quickly to requests so you can get back to your day as soon as possible. You should be enabled by your wheelchair rather than confined by it.

What’s up with the name?

“Ki,” pronounced “key,” is the Greek root word meaning “to set in motion.” Ki Mobility is dedicated to developing innovative seating and mobility products that provide optimal performance for the user.  Gotta Ride it!
