Adaptive equipment in winter sports: Customized and expensive, but extremely important for performance

Only if you feel comfortable with your assistive device, you can push yourself to maximum performance. This is not different in winter sports. However, there is not "THE perfect monoski, but THE perfect set-up", as Anna Schaffelhuber says.

Andrea Eskau works closely with TMG, the outfitter built a completely new sled especially for her. The commitment was worthwhile, the biathlete and cross country skier thanked them with six medals.

In order to continue to be successful at the highest level, the customs employment was a decisive step for Anna Schaffelhuber. However, the reigning World Champion and seven-time Paralympics winner sees a structural need to catch up in para-sport in Germany.
