Welcome to the trade fair for self-determined living!
More than 760 exhibitors from 39 countries will be providing a comprehensive overview in six exhibition halls and covering everything that can make daily life easier for people with disabilities, those requiring care and also the elderly.
On this page you can find impressions from the trade fair halls from the third day - in form of videos, photo galleries, articles and interviews.
In people with spinal cord injuries, not only is their mobility impaired, but also their bowel function. That’s why chronic constipation affects their quality of life. But the non-pharmacological and non-invasive device MOWOOT could be the solution.
Storm Xavier put a stop to Raúl Krauthausen's plans for recording his "face to face" programm on REHACARE. His guests, comedian Tan Caglar and photographer Anna Spindelndreier, improvised and interviewed each other on stage in the REHACARE forum.
Inclusive cooking with Volker Westermann
Trade fair snipet from hall 6
You can experience the special cooking event with Volker Westermann at the stand of the German Assistance Service (Assistenzdienst Deutschland) in hall 6, stand 6D34. Bon appétit!
Movement is colorful - at least at INNOVAID. The Danish company in Hall 4 / D23 has developed therapy pads that respond to the touch of hands and feet and are particularly suitable for training body and mind.
And Action! Filming and author reading at REHACARE 2017
Active on social networking sites, book authors, and favorite interview guests: Laura Gehlhaar and Raúl Krauthausen are among Germany’s best-known activists who promote social inclusion and self-determination. This year, both will also present their work in Düsseldorf’s exhibition halls.
Unfortunately, Raúl Krauthausen and Laura Gehlhaar had to cancel at short notice due to storm "Xavier"! Our editorial team was still able to interview them, though!
Drive like Schumacher – Thanks to the joystick control system by Zawatzky
Even though the driving range outside the exhibition halls is actually not a real race track, you can still hit the gas on it (after making a reservation). The Mobilcenter Zawatzky makes sure that interested trade fair visitors can take a short on-site test drive. Needless to say, visitors can also check out the vehicle conversion specialist’s expertise right in Hall 6, Booth C77.
