Stroke doubles dementia risk, concludes large-scale study

People who have had a stroke are around twice as likely to develop dementia, according to a study of University of Exeter. There seems to be a strong link between having a stroke and developing dementia which could be leading to a key-role in stroke prevention and post-care.
