Welcome to the trade fair for self-determined living!
More than 960 exhibitors from 40 countries will be providing a comprehensive overview in six exhibition halls and covering everything that can make daily life easier for people with disabilities, those requiring care and also the elderly.
On this page you can find impressions from the trade fair halls from the first day - in form of videos, photo galleries, articles and interviews.
A day at the fair like this makes you hungry. It's a good thing that the Landschaftsverband Rheinland and the Landschaftsverband Westfalen-Lippe have a show chef at REHACARE! Hall 3
At the booth of the CYBATHLON Experience in hall 3/F04 visitors can test the power of their thoughts and play the BCI game! In the virtual race with mind control, brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) measure brain signals.

Video interview with munevo: Smart Glasses for smart control
Controlling the wheelchair with a single head movement – this is possible thanks to smart glasses. But the munevo product can do much more. At REHACARE 2018, we learn how munevo DRIVE can make the everyday life of people with disabilities easier.
Busted! Samuel Koch at REHACARE! He talked to Jens Kleine from Made for Movement about the "Innowalk" training device, among other things. Koch says about the fair: "It's good that you can bundle your expertise at REHACARE and that visitors can inform themselves so well on site".
You want to travel to different places with REHACARE? No problem! Just pick your favorite accessories and destination, take place in front of the green screen in our photo box in hall 7 and take off!
It’s better to roll well than to drive badly. The Loop Wheels from Jelly Products Ltd. (Great Britain, hall 6, stand A11) help you to drive your wheelchair more smoothly and conveniently, both on uneven and even surfaces.
They don’t only look well, they also prevent fingers from getting into the spokes. The different colorful spoke guards from Bergh Special Products BV (The Netherlands, hall 6, stand 6C43) have something for every taste.
Take a seat! The office chair from VELA A/S (Denmark, hall 4, stand C25) originally is not as tall, but it makes you more independent in the kitchen, the bath or the sleeping room.
The Kuschel-MAXX (Cuddle-Maxx) from INVITALIS GmbH (Germany) is a super flexible, cozy all-purpose pillow. Its contents are atoxic, it is washable and light-weight, making it an ideal travel companion.
The accessible bowling rail (hall 7a, Sport Center) helps players with disabilities to roll the ball at the bowling lane smoothly.
Winner of the reddot Award: The Famica S-Cart is not yet available on the German market, but you can admire it at REHACARE in Hall 4/E59.
At this year's CYBATHLON Experience there is also a course for people with arm prostheses. Claudia Breidbach demonstrates how this works.
Accessibility in every situation: With the Hoch8 paternoster cabinet, the individual gondolas can be comfortably adjusted to the individual gripping height – ideal for the household or office. Company Koitka, Hall 3/E92
