Anouk Schmitt: Family and friends. But especially my partner. I met him when I was already using my wheelchair and for him my disability is just a part of me, just like my blonde hair. The first person who did not even want to know what "is wrong" with me.

You have the chance to become the German Federal Commissioner for the Disabled. What would you do first?

Anouk Schmitt: I would especially commit myself for a good Federal Participation Law and to do everything to change people’s mind. Especially this is because people with disability get impaired.
