British Company to Launch Walking Frames to Europe

Walking frame specialists Uniscan, which this year celebrates its 30th anniversary, is set to exhibit its award-winning range of ultra-lightweight walkers to the European market at REHACARE 2013.

The family-run company, which has built a strong reputation for its expertise in specialist walking frames, hand-makes its products in the UK, manufacturing unique, bespoke ultra-lightweight walkers.

The products which will be showcased at the exhibition (at Stand A70/VI in Hall 3 – as part of the United Kingdom Pavilion) are the Glider Plus Adjustable, the Grand Glider Plus Adjustable and the Triumph. The company will also give further details on its full product range.

The products include both three and four leg models, while also varying in capacity for user weight, with the ability to hold up to 127kgs or 254kgs in weight. All of the models are adjustable and have different key features to meet a range of needs.

Uniscan is hoping that REHACARE 2013 will provide the ideal springboard to expand distribution into Europe and beyond, while also discussing its products with clinicians and customers.

Rehacare 2013, the largest assistive and rehabilitative technologies fair in the world, takes place from 25 - 28 September at Messe Dusseldorf, Germany.
