Yoga teacher Britta Uhing dreams of dancing in the Pina Bausch ensemble. What her unusual first official act as Commissioner for the Disabled would be, who does not influence but impresses her, and how she otherwise rolls, she tells us on REHACARE.com.
What have you always been wanting to do and why have you never done this so far?
Britta Uhing: I always wanted to drive a Vespa and didn't dare because of MS. But since one month I am a proud scooter driver! It took me two weeks to practice jacking up, but now I can!
Which person has influenced you most? And why?
Britta Uhing: I don't want to be influenced... ...I'd rather be impressed. My Breathing and Consciousness Teachers impress me with their calmness, their knowledge and their loving way of passing on their knowledge to us.
You have the chance to become the Commissioner for the Disabled. What would you do first?
Britta Uhing: To give more body and consciousness trainings. To become aware of the body, breath and mind should be self-evident.
What is especially near and dear to you?
Britta Uhing: My family, animals, friends and students
