"The boundaries are in your head! The rest is endurance and organization," says Christian Tiffert. Together with his seven assistants, the quadriplegics travelled 8,000 kilometres through Russia last year. Why he is afraid of a trip around Cape Horn though and what role his former professor plays in his life, he tells us at REHACARE.com.

What makes you laugh?

Christian Tiffert: Happy people - especially children.

What have you always been wanting to do and why have you never done this so far?

Christian Tiffert: Sailing around the Cape Horn. Fear of the effort and of what happens when it doesn't work. (Much more before and after the accident, but: see last question)

Which person has influenced you most? And why?

Christian Tiffert: The professor who supervised my thesis. Because I admire his attitude to life and make it my own.

You have the chance to become the Commissioner for the Disabled in your country. What would you do first?

Christian Tiffert: Assemble a team, define common goals and define a strategy for implementation. Then CONSEQUENT WORK!!
