What makes you laugh?

Daniel Wehrmann: cool people, animals and good movies

What have you always been wanting to do and why have you never done this so far?

Daniel Wehrmann: A trip around the world! But not because I didn't dare. Rather because of the financial aspect and physical limitations.

Which person has influenced you most? And why?

Daniel Wehrmann: Since I have been a big fan of the hardcore music scene for many years, I think that Toby Morse (singer of the punk band H2O, editor's note) has shaped many views in life. He lives a special "Lifestyle" X (meaning Straight Edge, abbreviated as sXe, a subculture of punk. The followers of this part of the punk scene are alcohol, cigarettes and drugs abstinent; editor's note)

You have the chance to become the Commissioner for the Disabled. What would you do first?

Daniel Wehrmann: Oh, difficult question! I think I would be advocating for accessibility, justice and suitable housing.

Daniel Wehrmann, after a severe MS episode in 2010, quickly realised that the wheelchair was not his enemy. But the fact that people think that multiple sclerosis always has this course disturbs him. By the way, Nero the dog is also in the picture. He doesn't care much about MS.

What is especially near and dear to you?

Daniel Wehrmann: Education in the field of MS. Unfortunately, prejudices still exist today. People still have to understand that each individual course is different. Okay, I am sitting in a wheelchair, but most MS patients will never come into contact with it.

I would like to be ...

Daniel Wehrmann: ...as fit as in the 90ies.

Which question would you like answered the most?

Daniel Wehrmann: Since I exclude a healing for the time being, the focus on the restoration of the destroyed nerve protection layer would be interesting. How long do we have to wait?

What I finally want to say...

Daniel Wehrmann: As a person with a disability you are by no means a person of second choice!
