Name: Hanna Kern Age: 24 City: Vienna, Austria Occupation: Student Impairment: Multiple sclerosis
What have you always been wanting to do and why have you never done this so far?
Hanna Kern: A road trip in a motor home with my family. However, due to the unpredictability of my MS, I have not yet dared to do so.
Which person has influenced you most? And why?
Hanna Kern: My boyfriend who helped me to keep going.
You have the chance to become the Commissioner for the Disabled. What would you do first?
Hanna Kern: I would put much more emphasis on the education about different diseases. Unfortunately, there is still far too much ignorance and therefore many prejudices prevail.
What is especially near and dear to you?
Hanna Kern: I am particularly concerned about the equal rights of people with special needs.
I would like to be ...
Hanna Kern: a butterfly.
Which question would you like to be answered the most?
Hanna Kern: I often wonder if multiple sclerosis will ever be curable.
What I still wanted to say...
Hanna Kern: It would be so important that people would pay more attention to the issue of living with disabilities and not turn their backs on it. I think there is a even bigger need for more understanding and awareness.
