Kai Bosch lives out his love of language in every conceivable way – whether on stage, in book form or with music. But the Poetry Slamer also passes on his knowledge in workshops – for clubs, associations and in schools. The exchange with others is very important to him. Kai Bosch: Since I am a cheerful person, I almost always find something to laugh about. Most of the time it is funny dialogues with friends.
What have you always been wanting to do and why have you never done this so far?
Kai Bosch: When I want to achieve something, I tackle it. With the help of this attitude I have so far completed over 200 stage performances and published two books. I also convey this self-confidence in my workshops.
Which person has influenced you most? And why?
Kai Bosch: My parents. They have always supported me and taught me to believe in my strengths.
You have the chance to become the Commissioner for the Disabled. What would you do first?
Kai Bosch: The first thing I would do would be to organize numerous rounds of talks between people with and without disabilities. This would allow discussions to take place at eye level and prejudices to be overcome.
His stuttering could not keep him from his passion for the spoken word. In the meantime, Kai Bosch has made over 220 appearances as a poetry slamer, actor and presenter.
What is especially near and dear to you?
Kai Bosch: Apart from my family and friends, it is my love of language and my stage appearances.
I would like to be...
Kai Bosch: ... happy with my life's path when I'm old. Besides, I'd love to be a best-selling author someday.
