Lisa Mümmler can't say why she started blogging – maybe her thoughts just had to come out. But the blogger knows why Lizzi's World has been online since November 2016: as a connection between her, her thoughts and the world. (Relation to the topic) Impairment: I have a severe visual impairment: I still see about seven percent in both eyes – only when it's bright even less. In technical terms, I have macular dystrophy, drusen papillae and nystagmus.

What makes you laugh?

Lisa Mümmler: The Flachwitz Water Battle Challenges on YouTube and when the universe once again makes one of its jokes with me and lets me notice it.

What have you always been wanting to do and why have you never done this so far?

Lisa Mümmler: I would very much like to walk the Way of St. James in one piece, but I have not yet tackled this because I do not believe that I can do so without suitable trustworthy accompaniment due to my visual impairment. With a lot of courage, joy of communication and overcoming it might be possible to join a group spontaneously. But above all, I want to enjoy the whole thing, strengthen my connection to the world and to myself and not use all my strength to make things possible. Hopefully there will be a chance!

Which person has influenced you most? And why?

Lisa Mümmler: Master Yoda – though, he is not a human being and in this world also not real. Then the old and less old philosophers, whose words I have dedicated a part of my studies to. They helped me to question my view of the world completely, to turn it upside down and even to deny it, and then to rebuild it with a clear view, an own, solid opinion and a fresh direction.

You have the chance to become the Commissioner for the Disabled. What would you do first?

Lisa Mümmler: ALL steps, grey posts and traffic sign pedestals should be CLEARLY marked nationwide.

Lisa Mümmler: a blue whale to glide through the infinite vastness of the ocean as the largest, most impressive creature on the blue planet.

Lisa Mümmler: Why do people invest so much energy in the form of money or hatred in war, harmful products, football players, advertising, consumer goods, etc. instead of health, charity and peaceful coexistence?
