Luisa Eichler loves enjoying the sun, singing and traveling. Just recently, she traveled from Würzburg to Berlin especially for a demonstration against the Federal Participation Law. For what else she campaigns alongside to such actions, what kind of language she would like to learn and what is going on with her hair texture, she reveals on REHACARE.com.

Impairment: I have a walking impairment (arthrogryposis multiplex congenita) and I sometimes use a wheelchair. I’m also a board member of the Germany-wide community of interests for people with my kind of disability and I also write for "Aktion Mensch".
When did you last laugh heartily and what about?

Luisa Eichler: Since I 'm in the exam period, I really laugh about everything. The sillier, the better.

What have you always been wanting to do and why have you never done this so far?

Luisa Eichler: I think there are actually only a few things that I have not done only because of fear. At least if they were important for me.

Which person has influenced you most?

Luisa Eichler: My mother. She showed me that life always goes on somehow, even if it does not look like that in the first place.

You have the chance to become the German Federal Commissioner for the Disabled. What would you do first?

Luisa Eichler: First, I would try to learn sign language. That would be no order of business, but important to me personally. Since the so called Federal Participation Law is a very topical subject at the moment, I would try to find better solutions. And I would definitely make schools accessible! My school choice should not depend on how it is built

Your life is made into a film: Who would represent you?

Luisa Eichler: I would prefer footage from my real life. I think it is very strange to be represented by another person.

Luisa Eichler: a man. Just for one day.

Luisa Eichler: Why do I have such a bad hair structure? ;)
