Name: Marion Heist Age: 30 City: Landsberied, Bavaria, Germany Occupation: medical assistant + agent / dispatcher GP on-call service Impairment: Due to my basic disease Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and my job, you come into contact with a wide variety of people. But I don't see any difference to people with and without disabilities. We are all humans, heart and soul we all have. Unfortunately, many people lack acceptance.
Marion Heist: I always find something to laugh at, even if it's about myself. Laughter is healthy and frees the soul.
What have you always been wanting to do and why have you never done this so far?
Marion Heist: A balloon ride over the Bavarian Alps. It was pushed rather into a back corner, since I had strong balance disturbances in the beginning of the MS.
Which person has influenced you most? And why?
Marion Heist: My grandma. Because she was a very strong personality and she saw and heard the true answer behind every answer from me that was whitewashed from time to time.
You have the chance to become the Commissioner for the Disabled. What would you do first?
Marion Heist: Absolute equality and increased financial support.
What is especially near and dear to you?
Marion Heist: Everyone should put their own house in order and not always judge other people. We all live only this one life and should live it and enjoy it and not be attached to the negative sides.
I would like to be...

Which question would you like answered the most?
Marion Heist: Why does humanity become so superficial?
What I finally want to say...
