Marit Müller’s life is like a blockbuster: From romance over drama to western, it includes just everything. And the protagonist herself convinces with unconventional thinking and a healthy self-confidence. Which questions bother her and why does she want to kick some people’s shin, she tells us on REHACARE.com.
Marit Müller: During the theatrical performance of "King Lear" – as all-male production. Although it was a morbid drama including contemporary issues, I’ve never seen such hip-wiggling "hussies".
What have you always been wanting to do and why have you never done this so far?
Marit Müller: I have no answer for this. I do everything I really want. For everything else it is not the right place and time (yet).
Which person has influenced you most?
Marit Müller: I think everyone I meet also influences me. The question is more how to handle with this, because I can even learn from bad encounters... However: The most positive influence I got so far is from Tanja and Abhayada from "breathworks Germany". They both teach mindfulness. With their help I learned that I’m more than my ego, and that life just happens in the present.
You have the chance to become the German Federal Commissioner for the Disabled. What would you do first?
Marit Müller: Honestly? To kick some people’s shin. This question produces radicale answers and ideas in my head. My suggestion to all deciders, to put it mildly: „Being active instead of being present.“ appeals and persuasion don’t work.
Your life is made into a film: Who would represent you?
Marit Müller: My life already is a movie! A big Bollywood blockbuster with all its elements: Romance, drama, love, frinedship, horror, western, dance and adventures … Why should we be shooting a second one?
I would like to be ...
Marit Müller: Without any doubts. Which questions would you like answered the most?
Marit Müller:
To myself, and I’m very close to it: Who am I and who do I want to be tomorrow? To pharmaceutical industry, legislation and medical fraternity: Do you really want to help and heal? To mankind: Why do we make each other’s life so hard?
What I finally want to say... Marit Müller: The glass is half-full!
