To investigate the effects of robotic assistance in upper limb rehabilitation of stroke survivors, the Department of Occupational Therapy, College of Health and Human Sciences, Osaka Prefecture University, Japan conducted a study. They found that an optimal level of robotic assistance is key to maximizing improvement in UE paralysis after stroke.
