Lymed medical garment is recognized as a visual design product

Lymed picked up a prestigious Red Dot Product Design Award in Essen on the 7th of July, 2014. Lymed was given their award for Lymed Sport™ garment in the famous Aalto Theater of Essen. The Red Dot jury recognized companies all over the world who have produced fascinating, design-worthy products.

"We have had an absolutely outstanding couple of years, and it’s all down to fearless hard work," said Mrs Teija Toikka, CEO of Lymed. "We are incredibly proud of everyone at Lymed and the people we have had a chance to cooperate with."

The northern European countries have been remarkably successful in 2014 and Lymed is excited to be amongst its neighborly laureates. LYMED Sport™ garment, a winner in the Red Dot Award 2014: Product Design, was awarded for its high design quality. A first of its kind to be awarded, Lymed’s techno-medical garment for sports is presented in a special exhibition in the Red Dot Museum in Essen up until the beginning of August, after which it will be moved to the museum’s permanent collection.
