ThyssenKrupp Encasa presents ”Helping Hand on the Staircase”

A new Kind of Mobility by ThyssenKrupp Encasa premiers at REHACARE 2011

On the occasion of REHACARE 2011, the international trade fair for rehabilitation, integration, prevention and care, held in Düsseldorf from September 21 to 24, ThyssenKrupp Encasa presents a unique new product. Thanks to its innovative technology, the new device provides safe support for climbing stairs, thus offering “the helping hand on the staircase”. So people can walk up and down stairs by themselves; comfortably, actively and independently. ThyssenKrupp Encasa is the first and, currently, the only supplier who accepted the challenge of developing such a support device for stair climbing and turned it into a successful product. Patent application is pending for this innovation.

In addition to this new product, the supplier of chair- and platform lifts presents the new Levant Outdoor in a “landscape” specifically designed for this chairlift. It obtained the IP 55 protection certificate confirming that it is highly weatherproof and thus optimally suited for straight stairs outdoors. Several of this company’s chairlift solutions have won renowned design awards.

A fundraising campaign on behalf of Björn-Steiger-Stiftung and test rides on the spectacular “Flow Experience” are additional features which make a visit of ThyssenKrupp Encasa in Hall 3, Stand D68, an exceptional event.
