Why employee motivation would be one of her first official acts as Commissioner for the Disabled in Switzerland, and why shaping her thoughts positively in order to lead a happy life is helping her, Melanie Misiano tells us at REHACARE.com.
Name: Melanie Misiano Age: 37 City: Aargau, Switzerland Occupation: trained hairstylist - due to my often numb and cramped fingers I can only do this job in my spare time Impairment: I'm diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, so I'm relapsing-reduced.
Melanie Misiano: The sun and when I am well, as well as funny situations in everyday life.
What have you always been wanting to do and why have you never done this so far?
Melanie Misiano: A cruise. But I still lack the courage!
Which person has influenced you most? And why?
Melanie Misiano: My mother, because she raised me! Dr. Joe Dispenza and his books. Because he says: "What you think today will determine your life tomorrow".
You have the chance to become the Commissioner for the Disabled. What would you do first?
Melanie Misiano: I'd have to find out exactly what's in my power at first! Then I would examine my team, sort them out and motivate them. Because there is a lot to do!
It would be an enforceable point to finally get all public buildings accessible! Priority would also be given to the health insurance funds and their assumption of costs for aids!
What is especially near and dear to you?
Melanie Misiano: The happiness of my children.
I would like to be...
Melanie Misiano: .... a magician.
Which question would you like answered the most?
Melanie Misiano: How does multiple sclerosis originate?
What I finally want to say...
Melanie Misiano: Life is beautiful – even if you have MS!
