All people should be able to live the way they want to. But Peter König knows that therefor the concept of inclusion has to be lived by everybody – especially by decision makers. He himself does his bit to it every day. How he tries to make the town he lives in more accessible and what he thinks about the German inclusion activist Raul Krauthausen, he tells us on REHACARE.com.

When did you last laugh heartily and what about?

Peter König: When we entered the stage for our first fundraising concert - after almost 40 years - and the first song was a total desaster. We really roared with laughter. It released us and the rest went like clockwork.

What have you always been wanting to do and why have you never done this so far?

Peter König: Going to the Wacken Festival and rocking it - but I'm panicking in a huge crowd of people!

Which person has influenced you most?

Peter König: Raul Krauthausen (German inclusion activist). He stands his ground against everything and fights for all the things he wants to achieve. There is nothing which cannot be done for him - he always finds a way.

You have the chance to become the German Federal Commissioner for the Disabled. What would you do first?

Peter König: I know that the German Federal Commissioner for the Disabled cannot do everything he or she wants to. So I would stop talking and really start doing. I would make sure that the so called "Bundesteilhabegesetz" (Participation Law) would be passed - in order to finally end the prescribed poverty of people with disabilities.

Your life is made into a film: Who would represent you?

Peter König: I wozld do it myself, because I practiced for this role my whole life - and it suits me best.

I would like to be ...

Peter König: wealthy. Then I could help fighting sorrow much better.

Which questions would you like answered the most?

Peter König: When do we all learn to live together in peace and equality, to not seperate anybody and to be there for each other?

What I finally want to say...

Peter König: I appeal to everybody to continue campaigning for disabled people and helping them the best you can. Because nobody has chosen his impairment!
