Due to the effects of the coronavirus / Covid-19, Messe Düsseldorf, in close cooperation with the trade fair advisory board and all partners involved, has decided to postpone REHACARE 2020. It will now take place from 6 to 9 October 2021.
“Despite the regional government of North Rhine-Westphalia’s announcement that they would strive to enable the reopening of trade fairs and conferences by 31 May 2020, we have decided to postpone REHACARE until 2021 due to its specific participant demographic”, explains Werner M. Dornscheidt, Chairman and CEO of Messe Düsseldorf GmbH. “The health of our customers, guests and employees will always come first for us.”
With this postponement, Messe Düsseldorf is following the recommendation of the German government’s crisis management team: to base risk assessments for large-scale events on the principles issued by the Robert Koch Institute. Among other items, these state that people in high-risk groups such as people with disabilities or chronic illness, who make up the majority of private visitors to REHACARE, should not attend events.
"It is very important for us to announce this new date in time which will allow exhibitors, visitors and the media to reliably plan", explains Wolfram N. Diener, Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf GmbH. "Our partners can trust us to act responsibility and calmly even in difficult situa-tions".

When will the visitor ticket shop be converted?
