Playfully accessible in rehabilitation and leisure time

Dear Sir or Madam,

Conquering virtual worlds, uncovering secrets or being the successful athlete you might not be in real life. Video games offer the opportunity to do so. They are an escape from stressful everyday life, stimulation for one's own creativity or offer the opportunity to get back into shape physically. In our current Topic of the Month we have looked at how accessible they are for people with disabilities and what so-called exergames can do, especially for elderly people.

Have a playful week,

Anne Hofmann
