High care costs for families

Dear Sir or Madam,

Care is becoming an increasingly important topic. A new simulation of the Brown University shows that the main costs are borne by the families. Unfortunately, these increase multiple if the relatives to be cared for have, for example, dementia. Read more about it in our News.

Have a nice day,

Whether it’s a block party or neighborhood initiatives, there is great solidarity among people even in this day and age. Yet to make their own "hood" livable and enjoyable for all people and/or support it, the hands of residents are often tied. The Q8 Project by the Protestant Foundation Alsterdorf attempts to act as an intermediary and support citizens in their projects in several boroughs and quarters of Hamburg, Germany.

Denise Bartels – That's how she rolls

How we roll

Photo: Denise Bartels; Copyright: Michael Kröning
Denise Bartels was raised along the claim: "There is nothing impossible as long as you try hard enough". Since she has the diagnosis Ehlers-Danlos-Syndrome it is sometimes hard for her to satisfy her acquired self. Who helps her in this state of mind and what she thinks about the so called Federal Participation Law, she tells us at REHACARE.com.
