preventing the discrimination of people with disabilities from being disadvantaged and ensuring their equal and accessible participation in life in society - these are the objectives of the The Federal Act on the Equalization of Disabled Persons (BGG). This should enable a self-determined lifestyle. But in practice, however, things often look quite different. For this reason, the arbitration board BGG was set up in December 2016.
