Virtual and inclusive - but also accessible?


Dear Sir or Madam,

Avatars in a wheelchair are just a welcome announcement in the gaming scene so far. But also independent of this, more and more people with disabilities are becoming enthusiastic about the various games on consoles or computers. But how accessible is the gaming landscape currently at all? So we asked Felix Falk, the managing director of the German Association of Interactive Entertainment Software, for exactly this purpose.

Philipp Schrenk was always the only student or employee with a disability, both at school and when he started his career. But it worked out. Today, Schrenk really loves to travel and to offer other people orientation to accessible holiday destinations with his travel blog. Why his weaker self has kept him away from the Caribbean so far and what question he has for the health insurance companies, he tells on REHACARE.com.

They vie for the affection and approval of their parents, they argue with each other and yet no other relationship is as close and able to endure as much as the bond between siblings. Regardless of whether it is a connection like the Klitschko or Gallagher brothers have, sibling relationships run deep and in the case of Liam and Noel can also withstand repeated disagreements. After all, the same blood flows through their veins. But what happens if your brother or sister is a person with a disability?
