When did you last laugh heartily and what about?

Sven Neeb: Just recently. Actually you can say that I always laugh about almost everything – no matter how other people see it. So I cannot highlight something special.

What have you always been wanting to do and why have you never done this so far?

Sven Neeb: I have already done everything I wanted to. And I do not really know why I should not do it.

Which person has influenced you most?

Sven Neeb: I do not really know which person might have influenced me that much and why. Nowadays we are actually influenced by every person. So the question should be: "Which person has been accepting you the way you are?"

You have the chance to become the German Federal Commissioner for the Disabled. What would you do first?

Sven Neeb: I would make sure that the supply of auxiliary means and other things that are important for people with disabilities and a normal life is much easier.

Your life is made into a film: Who would represent you?

Sven Neeb: Luke Mockridge (Comedian), because he is bananas – in a positive way, like I am. So I think he could represent my character in a good way.

Sven Neeb: Federal President.

Which questions would you like answered the most?

Sven Neeb: Why is it so difficult to get paid an auxiliary mean you really need? What about inclusion in Germany? I always hear that accessibility will be brought forward in Germany. But when will this actually happen?

What I finally want to say...

Sven Neeb: People with disabilities are also just people and a part of society like anybody else! We want to be treated in a normal way and we need no pity, if at least we want respect! Over time we learn to live with our impairments and that’s why people should not think that we are completely helpless. If we need some help, we will tell you. So nobody has to grab us without cause, because he or she thinks we might need help.
