When did you last laugh heartily and what about?

Vanessa Franke: One night my neighbor’s male cat stood in front of my room door and I realized that he has been running through our house – without being noticed by my dog – and has slept all day in our guest bed. Our neighbors already missed him.

What have you always been wanting to do and why have you never done this so far?

Vanessa Franke: I have always wanted to go paragliding and to feel complete freedom. So in June 2015 I have finally made this dream come true and dared to go on a tandem flight.

Which person has influenced you most?

Vanessa Franke: Samuel Koch (German actor with a disability after an accident on TV), because he shows me that life has is beautiful from every perspective. And that’s why it is worth fighting for.

You have the chance to become the German Federal Commissioner for the Disabled. What would you do first?

Vanessa Franke: A draft law for a fair participation law (the so called German "Bundesteilhabegesetz").

Your life is made into a film: Who would represent you?

Vanessa Franke: Britt Robertson. With her petite and fashionable appearance she looks quite like me and her interest in fashion and lifestyle mirrors my personal attraction for this.
