The StreetJet can be docked convincingly quickly and effortlessly onto almost any active wheelchair, without the usual pre-installation of coupling systems. The product developers at Sunrise Medical paid particular attention to the users' detailed requirements, not least because a wealth of personal cross-section experience was incorporated from the team.

Particularly in the case of weak hand functions, docking within seconds by simply tapping lightly proves to be an advantage. Thanks to optimized support wheels, clamping design and reverse gear, the traction unit is uncomplicated to maneuver. The StreetJet's highly efficient electric drive with brushless motor and lithium-ion battery reliably takes users to places that previously seemed unreachable.

With a range of 50 km long or steep routes on challenging surfaces can be mastered with relaxed driving pleasure. There are two pneumatic tire options for the traction unit: the 12-inch tires prove to be the ideal equipment for trips in urban environments and for transport. Those who want more comfort for outdoor excursions beyond paved roads can opt for 16-inch wheels. A clear display guarantees the rider full control over speed, distance, battery status and energy consumption at all times.

A particularly user-friendly feature is that acceleration can also be adjusted to suit personal requirements. Cruise control and integrated LED lighting are standard features. Two independent braking systems ensure the best possible safety; a finely adjustable electric brake and a powerful disc brake complement each other. With 20 attractive color options for the frame, five color options for the "One Touch" docking mechanism and different cable colors, there are virtually no limits to the personalization of the towing unit in terms of style and design. The Empulse StreetJet meets all requirements for prescription and reimbursement as an assistive device.
