From 14 to 17 September 2022, Ottobock will be presenting its innovations and solutions for people with disabilities in Düsseldorf – for more mobility, quality of life and enjoyment in everyday life. NeuroMobility will be the focus of the Ottobock exhibition stand (hall 6/booth 6A29) at REHACARE 2022, the international trade show for rehabilitation and care. This is a new, holistic treatment approach for patients with neurological indications.
"We're really excited about REHACARE. We'll finally be able to meet, network and inspire each other again – in person," says Philipp Hoefer, Executive Board Member for Sales & Marketing DACH at Ottobock HealthCare Deutschland GmbH. "Exchanging ideas at the trade show is really important for the industry. Our NeuroMobility concept is a great example of this: We want to inspire patients and their families, physiotherapists and doctors, rehabilitation specialists and O&P professionals to think in terms of integrated solutions."
NeuroMobility stands for modern, interdisciplinary treatment for people with (incomplete) paraplegia, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis or paralysis due to a stroke. This approach places a stronger focus on the individual needs of patients. It aims to enhance freedom of movement, quality of life and independence – enabling people to live the lives they want.
This approach often involves a combination of different devices, which Ottobock will be presenting at REHACARE. These include manual and power wheelchairs, rehab buggies and seating solutions, products with functional electrical stimulation, the computer-controlled C-Brace orthotronic mobility system and the new Exopulse Mollii Suit. Equipped with 58 electrodes, this suit can relax muscles and reduce pain via low-frequency electrical stimulation. Demo users and experts will provide an impressive demonstration of how the devices affect users' range of motion and quality of life at the Ottobock exhibition stand.
