QUICKIE Nitrum wins Red Dot award

Sunrise Medical is very proud to announce that the QUICKIE Nitrum® has received the Red Dot Award for Product Design 2022 from Germany. Packed with numerous newly patented features and frame designs, the QUICKIE Nitrum ultra-light wheelchair has become a global phenomenon since launched in 2020.

The Red Dot Award is the prominent international award for high quality product designs well recognized worldwide. The international jury only awards this sought-after seal of quality to products that feature an outstanding design.

The QUICKIE Nitrum has won numerous awards since its introduction. The ultra lightweight wheelchair won the Mobility Product Award 2021 in the Manual Ultra Lightweight wheelchair category by the renowned Mobility Management magazine in the US.  In less than a month after launch, Nitrum was awarded "Retailer's Choice of the Year 2020" by one of the most influential European trade magazines, "THIIS" in the UK.

Not only pioneering in product designs, Sunrise Medical has also featured the industry leading customer experience tools with the launch of QUICKIE Nitrum, including the highly innovative 3D visualizer and illustration tool with Augmented Reality technology. Since launch, Nitrum's brand new 3D visualizer on the Sunrise Medical websites has attracted more than 500,000 users globally. For those who wish to personalize their own Nitrum, they can now conveniently select from all the available options and colors with a 3D visualizer offered. To add more fun into the user experiences, Sunrise Medical also offers users the first augmented reality (AR) application in the industry, which makes it possible to display various pre-set wheelchair options in the user's real life environment.

Sunrise Medical has also won a second Red Dot Award for Product Design on a yet to be released new product. Stay tuned for this exciting product launch later this year.
