After a stroke, many people want one thing above all else: independence within their own four walls. The Wheeleo® walking aid, developed by physiotherapist Geoffrey Dellicour at the William Lennox Rehacenter in Belgium, makes this possible. This four-wheeled walking aid offers stable support and is the first of its kind that can be operated with just one hand.
For the video report, we visited user Anne-Catherine Bovy in Brussels, who describes the Wheeleo® as her daily companion and tells us how it gives her security and freedom in everyday life.
Geoffrey Dellicour also provides exciting insights into the development of the walking aid, which was specially designed for people with hemiplegia. Managing Director Greogory Vanderveken shows us how the walking aid is produced in Belgium and how the company is positioning itself for the future.
Physiotherapist Eline Pirard shares her practical experience in rehabilitation and reports on how the Wheeleo® significantly improves the therapeutic success of her patients.
