Best practice of the #TogetherForInclusion campaign
Inclusive journalism aims to make access to information as barrier-free as possible: through plain language and content that is also suitable for people with visual or hearing disabilities. The editorial teams of the Austrian magazines andererseits and Dossier have also recognized this and started an experiment.
For one issue of Dossier, the Austrian magazines andererseits and Dossier reported as inclusively as possible.
For Georg Eckelsberger from the Dossier editorial team, this was a very instructive experience: "It's only when you make an effort that you notice: We often work under stressful conditions and don't show much consideration for each other. I am convinced that everyone benefits from inclusive work."
Nikolai Prodöhl from the andererseits editorial team emphasizes: "It's important that we also express our opinions. We also have experience in different areas."
