Most people use five senses – they see, hear, taste, feel and smell. But this is not a given. People with a sensory disability live with one or more senses that can only be used to a limited extent or not at all. At REHACARE, we collected impressions of assistive devices for people with sensory disabilities.28/10/2021
Blindness or visual impairment means a loss or partial loss of the sense of sight. What it doesn't mean is that those who are impacted by this must aim lower or feel inferior. An abundance of vision aids does a fantastic job of replacing the sense of sight in the best way possible.
