I find the Frame Runner really exciting because it gives me a totally new feeling of movement. Things I couldn't do before. It almost feels like running.
I had polio, and because of that I'm limited to walking with crutches and wearing a brace, all the time. That often gives me the feeling that I just can't move the way I want to. But with the Frame Runner, it's completely different.
The first time I used the Frame Runner, it was really cool. I felt like a road cyclist, just from the speed on the street. It moves really smoothly, and you barely have to put in any energy — it just flows. That was really, really cool.
Marco Hessler, Wolturnus:
We want to enable people with disabilities to stay active with our assistive devices, and to keep pursuing the recreational activities they enjoy. In consultations and conversations with the user, we address their individual needs, and we also lend out demo products for them to try, so the user can figure out if it's the right fit for them.
The product has to be the best possible solution for being able to do the sport, and for having fun doing it. That's our top priority when we present a product.

I also ride a handbike, which is a lot of fun too. But here there's just more movement, and I sit higher up. That means I'm not being looked down on from above, and I just think that's a really great feeling.
