At the age of seventeen, Kerstin was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, a disease that fundamentally changed her life. By the end of 2021, her condition had deteriorated to the point where she needed a wheelchair and had to give up her job as a preschool teacher. The wheelchair helped her, but experiencing the world from that perspective was difficult, often making her feel invisible and sidelined.
