What has been your biggest challenge so far that you have mastered – and what has helped you?
Moritz Brückner: Independent laxation – sounds disgusting, but you can't underestimate it. My stubbornness and the advice of many helped me!
What can the assistive technology industry learn from the Corona pandemic to make life easier and/or better for people with disabilities in the future?
Moritz Brückner: There are assistive devices that have a higher priority than others. One example: Without catheters, I have a huge problem – thrombosis stockings with a two-week delay, on the other hand, would not be a drama.
If nothing was impossible: Who would you like to meet one day and why?
Moritz Brückner: Da Vinci – just to see what his everyday life was like and how he rolled in private.
What was your best REHACARE experience?
Moritz Brückner: Meeting a wheelchair user who I was able to motivate to move on (driver's license) by simply answering questions.
What I wanted to say...
Moritz Brückner: Inclusion doesn't just mean that others have to change something. If something bothers you, you can't just complain, but also be proactive and always keep both sides in mind.
