Image Acquisition

We can acquire the images you need from PET, SPECT, CT, MRI, fMRI, Spectroscopy, Angiography, MEG, Optical Imaging, and EEG with source localization in vivo, in animals such as mice and primates, or humans..

Image Fusion

We are able to provide anatomic and functional brain image fusion services with access to PET/CT, SPECT/CT, and PET/MRI human imaging machines as well as a SPECT/CT animal imaging machine. We also have state-of-the art software for fusing any image modality.

Molecular Imaging

We can use PET to image a molecule of your choice. In this way you can specifically target the molecule of your interest.


Preclinical or clinical development of biomarkers associated with the presence and severity of specific disease states. We can use available biomarkers or develop new ones as needed for drug discovery & development.

Carotid Imaging

Carotid Doppler and/or Carotid MRI imaging services: commonly used in studies on stroke prevention and/or carotid atherosclerosis.

Optical Imaging

Studies that employ optical imaging including near infra-red fluorescence and a new technology based on the photoacoustic effect.

Brain Imaging Processing and Analysis

We use state-of-the-art software to process brain images from PET, SPECT,CT, MRI, fMRI, PET/CT, SPECT/CT, PET/MRI, Spectroscopy, Angiography, MEG, Optical Imaging, and EEG with source localization. After processing the data we can follow up with statistical analysis. Aside from using commercially-available software we are also developing our own programs for image analysis and processing..

Signal Processing and Modeling Techniques

We can deliver on the most complex signal processing and modeling requests. This includes, but is not limited to denoising, genetic algorithm optimization, filtering, wavelet analysis, DCM, SVD, kinetic modeling, pharmacodynamic modeling and neural networks.

Drug Profiling/Neuropsychological Assessment

We can look for evidence of drug efficacy, and provide studies of toxicology, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics. Neuropsychological assessments can be tailored to your specific needs, such as evaluating side effects on an individual.

Cognimetrix Inc., In The Words of Its Founder

The financial imperatives associated with the frontiers of brain imaging research often put it beyond the scope of academic institutions. To remain open to every possibility I undertook an independent approach and looked for a business avenue to pursue my goal.

Our company has two components:

An ongoing Contract Research Organization (CRO) business focused on providing brain imaging acquisition, analysis and advice.
Self-directed brain imaging research and development focused on producing cognitive training software that will enhance intelligence and creativity in humans. Enhanced brain function can be of assistance against diseases such as Alzheimer's and also in healthy subjects. We aim to eventually apply the same bionic based principles to enhancing intelligence and creativity in computers and robots.
